1. How do I apply for a library card?

Customers wishing to receive a library card should fill out an application available either online or at the library. Adults are required to provide photo identification and verify a current residential address. Minors 17 years old and younger may receive a card signed for by a parent or legal guardian. A local reference not living at the same address as the applicant is required.

Library cards are valid for one year, and renewable each year after, upon verification of member information. There is no fee to obtain a library card, however all card holders must agree to be responsible for all books and materials checked out on the card, and will be required to pay for any books or materials lost or damaged while in their possession.

2. How long is my library card valid and how do I renew it?

Library cards are issued for one year, and renewable each year thereafter, upon presentation of a valid ID, verification of address, and a phone number.

3. How long can I keep my items?

All items in the library, with the exception of reference materials, can be checked out for three weeks.
