2023 Elder's Trip - Oklahoma City Area

The 2023 Elders Trip to OKC Area is planned for our eligible enrolled tribal elders 65 years of age and older, and their spouse, or a caregiver.

Travel and touring dates are May 17  & 18, 2023. (2 Day/1 Night).

Points of Interest include Woolaroc Museum, the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, a Step-On guided tour in  the town of Pawhuska, OK & the Tall Grass Prairie, and The First Americans Museum.

Ground transportation (charter bus); lodging; admission tickets and most meals will be provided. Gratuities for guides, drivers and, etc. are not included.

The registration/reservations will be processed on a “First Come First Served” basis.  To “save your seat”, you must first turn in/submit your registration form as soon as possible (don’t wait until the deadline).  Secondly, make sure all other required forms are turned by the deadline indicated on the form.  All participants,(including those on the “waiting list”) will be required to have an up-to-date and complete travelers packet turned in to confirm their reservations.

If you’re unable to get an appointment with your healthcare provider to get required forms signed, the Downstream Clinic is available. There is no charge, and no insurance is filed. To schedule appointment(s) at the Downstream Clinic please call 918-919-6114.

Individuals on the 2022 Elders Trip-OKC “waiting list” will be given first priority for registration to “save” their seat”. Next will be those who had to cancel their reservations due to unforeseen circumstances.  In an effort to allow as many of our elders as possible to have the opportunity to participate in the second trip, those who participated in the 2022 Elders Trip-OKC Area will not be considered eligible to participate in this second trip (2023 Elders Trip-OKC).

Registrations will be accepted until May 8, 2023, or until full capacity is reached, whichever comes first. We will not be sending a nationwide “mass mail-out” to the elders. Travel Registration Packets can be picked up at the Quapaw Nation Elders Center; or requested by phone or email or submitted online.

To request a Travelers Packet, or for additional information, please contact: Debbie Wray by phone number 1-918-238-3150 or by emailing dwray@quapawnation.com.

Every effort is being made to make this trip enjoyable for all participants.
