Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior used to establish power and control over another person through the use of fear and intimidation, often including the threat or use of violence. Domestic violence and sexual assault is rapidly growing in rural areas. With the increase of these crimes, it is the mission of our department to support victims during violent situations.
Domestic violence is any act of physical, psychological, or sexual harm or the threat of imminent danger toward a person from a family member or an intimate partner.
